Fernando has more than 20 years consulting and industrial experience in areas such as Working Capital, Supply Chain and Operations management. His work has led to the identification and realization of value (cash and profit) in a variety of industries and geographies. He has a strong track record in industries such as steel, automotive, wind turbine manufacturing and installation and energy generation and distribution.
Selected project experience
- Fernando has led different projects related to working capital, supply chain and inventory optimization with the steel industry in Europe (Spain, Luxemburg, Sweden and Finland).
- Fernando has led recently a project with a leading Company in the steel industry that identified €200m cash improvements related to Operations and inventory management across the global footprint of the Group.
- He has led a working capital assessment and implementation programme, covering OtC, PtP and FtF, for a major Scandinavian Energy Group. The project included the identification and implementation support across different countries of short-, medium- and long-term improvement measures contributing to a €360m cash improvement.
- Prior to his work in management consultancy, Fernando held different positions related to Operations Management with ABB in Mexico, Sweden and Spain.
